The Role

 

You will be part of the Finance team of Iris Germany working in close cooperation and reporting directly to the Finance Manager in Munich. The position will be based in the office in Macedonia and will require the ability to communicate excellently using email and phone with the rest of the team who are based in Munich. Maintaining close communication and very good working relationship with the stakeholders of different levels and experience is a prerequisite to succeed in this role. There will be some travel to the UK and Munich initially for training, therefore you must be able to travel.

 

Tasks:

1)      Prepare regular reporting in line with global finance requirements

2)      Perform the month-end closing including posting of journal entries

3)      Project controlling (review of balances, income, costs) and set-up of regular reporting process to assess project profitability

4)      Collaborate with business partners to provide financial support and advise when needed

5)      Collaborate with Shared Service Centre in Macedonia and ensure the quality of journal entries in the financial system (General Ledger und Subledger)

6)      Maintenance of finance system (create/ deactivate users, open and close of the period, create projects)

7)      Ad hoc reporting as required
