Task Summary (What to Expect)

You'll listen to real audio recordings and produce precise, verbatim transcripts — capturing not just what was said, but how it was said. That means every "uh," every repeated word, every trail-off matters. Your work will also include:

- Verbatim transcription of single-speaker and multi-speaker recordings, targeting 98%+ accuracy

- Timestamping text segments to the audio with tight precision (under 500ms offset)

- Speaker labeling in conversations involving two to eight participants

- Event annotation for non-speech sounds such as laughter, background noise, or unintelligible segments 

What We're Looking For 

- Native-level fluency in Macedonian, including comfort with regional accents and informal speech patterns

- The ability to transcribe verbatim — preserving stutters, false starts, and filler words rather than cleaning them up ("I do- don't know what to do!")

- Comfort working with browser-based tools (we'll walk you through our platform)

- Reliability: consistent quality output that meets deadlines 

Payments

You will be paid $268.80 (~€228) per audio hour. This is per audio hours transcribed and not per hours worked. Tasks are presented in units of varying audio lengths, and you may complete as many units as you wish.

All submitted work must meet the required quality standards. Failure to meet quality requirements may result in task rejection.

This is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen with instructions to create your account, complete setup requirements, and proceed with participation in the project.
