We have a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our Legal Department in Macedonia whose responsibility is to advise on legal matters, assist and support in order to ensure that the corporate activities are in line with the applicable laws and to prevent any legal implication or consequence Asseco might have.

• Prepares and revises decisions, contracts, and other legal acts for the need of the company.

• Prepares claims, appeals, objections, and other legal means before institutions and organs. 

• Represents the interests of the company before institutions and organs in Republic of North Macedonia.

• provide legal advisory focused on compliance of the company‘s  activities with the Group standards and the applicable laws

• draft,  review, negotiate contracts and be responsible for their compliance with Group Templates 

• answer legal questions from people at various levels within the organization• draft, review, implement Policies, Guidelines 

• communicate with relevant public authorities

• advise HR on labor-law

• Directly responsible to Senior Legal Adviser

About you

• University degree in Law 

• At least 3 years of working experience in related areas having ability to work independently and solve complex problems

• fluent knowledge of English including legal English is a must (contracts drafting, negotiations, communication within the Group)

• practical knowledge in civil law, intellectual property law, labor law, corporate law, public procurement (track record in at least 2/3 of 5 indicated areas of law)

• track record of drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements

• excellent written and oral communication skills 

• strong drive to achieve the best results against internal or external standards

• openness to a continuous acquisition of new skills and competencies, as well as to improve existing

• experience in payment services sector, IT business or in international company will be an advantage
