Support and hosting manager - Adobe Connect cloud
We need a new colleague who can manage our Adobe Connect Saas platform based on a Windows server, Windows SQL and Red Hat Linux platform. We are looking for a person, who have knowledge on both Linux and Windows server production environments and wants to help build new hosting services from zero.Your responsibilities will be to establish, maintain and support this platform/services together with our internal team and Adobe’s technical team.
Basic Windows and Linux skills required:
● Knowledge on MS SQL and database scripting
● Red hat Linux 8.6+ > open Source applications ex. PostgreSQL, Redis, dockers
● Manage, maintain, monitor and support the Windows server infrastructure environment.
● Install, configure and support hardware and software
● Provide ongoing maintenance including updates, patches and anti-virus updates.
● Troubleshoot and fix server issues.
● Conduct performance monitoring, system health checks and capacity planning.
● Hosting services and IT security in a web environment.
● Cluster setup w. load balancer, port, traffic and protocol config
● Working with external services such as Azure, AWS etc.
● Working with on-prem servers, VMware etc
● Basic knowledge of Java, HTML, XML Web services, etc.
● You must be able to work independently.
● Fluent English both written and spoken
Adobe Connect hosting manager skills
We don’t expect you to know anything about Adobe Connect. We will provide the technical training needed to Install, monitor and support the Adobe Connect platform. We expect you to be hungry to obtain and acquire new knowledge - and have a natural interest in keeping up with Adobe Connect developments to build the following Adobe Connect Skills:
● Support and understand Adobe Connect - frontend
● Troubleshoot Adobe Connect problems
● Deploy Adobe Connect from Azure, AWS or similar cloud hosting systems
● Understand the Adobe Connect web services API
● Implement Cluster setup with SSL
● Understand Adobe Connect architecture and backend components
● Write and maintain documentation in English.
