(INACTIVE) - DATA COLLECTION SPECIALIST

Job details

Norna, a Swedish cutting-edge AI company within fashion technology, are now looking to recruit one or several Data Collection Specialists to our in-house data collection Team. The specialists will be based in Skopje but they will work full time with the rest of our Team in Sweden and in Asia.

Norna was founded in 2018 as a response to the ongoing transformation of retail and the lack of advanced analytics in broad segments of the industry. Employing approximately 20 talents in Sweden and Asia, it is our mission to change the way that the fashion industry manages pricing and monitoring of its main assets, by providing advanced analytics to global fashion brands. Being a provider of large-scale analytics, it is of critical importance that our 24/7 mining of raw materials (i.e. data) is efficient, and you will consequently be an important and appreciated part of our core operations.

The Data Collection Specialists will join a small team of young and skilled people. The Specialists are required to execute individual, active, and meticulous and quality driven work to continuously secure that data, using the tools and frameworks that we provide. Though work is individual, it is important with a good team collaboration.

Job requirements:

· Deep knowledge in HTML and JavaScript

· Experienced in css/xpath

· Knowledge of scrapy framework

· Knowledge of selenium

· Basic programming skills in Python

· Structured task handling

· Conversational language skills in English

· The position is located in Skopje

Previous experience of data collection is highly positive, but Norna is wiling to train quick learners in the relevant methodologies and principles, as we acknowledge that large scale data collection is a highly specialized field.A university degree is not necessarily a must to fulfil the job requirments, but a degree in computer science, software engineering or related is a solid merit.
