We are a fast-growing, fun remote digital marketing company and we’re working with numerous clients from various industries worldwide. At this moment we are looking for our next:

Online PR Specialist

(Work from home)

We’re looking for an Online PR Specialist with proven experience. Our ideal candidate knows how to use Slack and Asana (or is willing to learn).

Responsibilities:

- Manage a diverse portfolio of websites and clients for PR opportunities, HARO and Source Bottle monitoring, and getting quotes on news articles

- Liaise with news outlets, develop relationships, and pitch press releases.

- Draft content, press releases, interviews, opinion pieces, presentations, and proposals that assist the workflow and deliverables

- Create and execute proposals based on the clients’ strategic needs both on a reactive and proactive mode

- Assist communications in handling issues management activities

- Handle inbound media inquiries and act as the key person in media communication

- Create and maintain media contacts

 

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years experience in the communications sector; agency experience preferred

- University degree in PR/communications/ marketing or similar field

- Postgraduate studies in communication will be considered a plus

- Proficient English skills are essential.

- Previous experience of using Slack, Asana, and Google Drive (or is willing to learn). 

- Comfortable working to defined deadlines.

- Outstanding PR and communication skills

- Excellent analytical thinking

- Exceptional verbal, writing, editing, and presentation development skills

- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work under pressure within tight deadlines

- Significant business acumen within the area of responsibility

- Creative mind partnered with problem-solving ability

- Exemplary attention to detail

- Ability to be both a self-starter and a team player

- Focus on details and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables

- Good understanding of the Social Media environment (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs, etc.)

- Flexibility, punctuality, determination, positive thinking

 

What we offer:

- Excellent working remote environment (Freelance, Part-Time, Full Time)

- We are looking to create a long-lasting relationship, but if you're not able to commit right away, we'll accept even short-term collaborations!

- We are expecting you to work 10 hours per week (flexible) and we will pay 9 AUD / per hour in the beginning. By that time this role and the hourly fees will be reviewed.
