GENERAL MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

What you would be doing:

Strategy:

Provide leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are practiced daily; Drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, and cash flow objectives; Design clear growth-driven objectives, key results, and initiatives, and implement them across the organization.

People & Culture:

Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to leadership development; Promote high levels of employee engagement, well-being, and personal integrity across the organization; Help set the tone for the organizational culture, perpetuating the company's corporate vision; Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the Company and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Performance Improvement:

Plan, develop, and implement yearly business plan focusing on objectives, key results, and key initiatives; Develop and administer a balanced scorecard of strategic, financial, customer, and operations metrics; Identify areas of opportunity and make bottom line oriented decisions to improve results.
