Peace Corps North Macedonia is a US government agency and seeks qualified and motivated candidates for the full-time position(s) as:

 

Regional Coordinator

 

Working under the supervision of the Director of Programming and Training (DPT), the Regional Coordinator (RC) is responsible for supporting Peace Corps Volunteers (PCVs) living and working within an assigned geographic area in North Macedonia. In coordination with the Program Managers, the RC provides ongoing support on cross-cultural issues to counterparts, host families, and Volunteers in order to facilitate a positive working and living arrangement for all parties involved. The RC is responsible for overall support for PCV community integration and housing needs and assists Volunteers in becoming self-sufficient, secure, and productive.

 

The RC is responsible for identifying and supporting host family assignments. The RC directs the search for families and then interviews and selects all host families and alternate host families in the assigned geographic area. The RC provides ongoing administrative/logistical support for Volunteer housing, including resolving ongoing housing issues. The RC also supports Program Managers with site development and other duties.

Location: Skopje, with periodic travel within North Macedonia

 

Salary:93,042 MKD/month (gross); full-time position. No relocation expenses will be covered.

Estimated Start Date: August 2019, contingent on successful background investigation

 

Security Clearance: After an offer is made, the selected candidate is required to successfully pass a background investigation conducted by the US Embassy in Skopje.
