Responsibilities:

·         Develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;

·         Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports;

·         Identify, analyze, and interpret trends, or patterns in complex data sets;

·         Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems;

·         Locate and define new process improvement opportunities;

·         Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes;

·         Produce and track key performance indicators;

·         Monitor and audit data quality;

·         Manipulate, analyze and interpret complex data sets;

·         Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations;

·         Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management.

 

Requirements:

·         Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques;

·         Experience, or knowledge of reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks);

·         Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) is considered a plus;

·         Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.);

·         Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;

·         Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings;

·         Excellent math and analytical skills;

·         The ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualizations;

·         BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
